McCarran International Airport, Las Vegas: Terrazzo Job of the Year 2017

A behind-the-scenes look of the installation of the 40-foot diameter poker-chip medallion, composed of 27 rich colors, sparkling with mirror, glass, and mother-of-pearl aggregate. About 5,000 linear feet of one-eighth-inch zinc strip, all hand-bent on-site, was installed within the medallion. Precast terrazzo slabs were fabricated in-house and water-jet cut.

Installed by the CORRADINI Corporation.
